Seeking security, seeking adventure…
Two very different concepts and, yet not mutually exclusive. At least not for me. I love adventure. But if I don’t feel some sort of security, you’ll have to drag me, kicking and screaming, to the finish line. Like, ahh… Like work this week. New office, new position, new boss. If it hadn’t been for me… For her, helping me along, providing me with a default security I knew I could fall back on, I don’t think I could have made it to the end of the week. Especially with all the other employees in the office talking about the boss behind their back. I wonder if Miss Perez knows what they really say about her… She strikes me as the kind of person who knows everything about everyone, but… Maybe I am wrong?
Back to security and adventure…
I love adventure. But as I’ve said, I need to feel secure if I’m going to go off exploring. Like my date tonight… My work date… With Miss Perez at her home. She has this… Incredible aura. It draws you in and has you opening like a blooming Casa Blanca Lilly in the moonlight. Despite everything I’d heard about her from her other employees, I am sure it isn’t true. She’s proven with her kindness and her… Oh wow… And her gentle guidance that I can trust her, that I can feel safe in her presence. She’s taken a liking to me, taken me under her wing, I’m sure of it! I can trust her. I can rely on her…
And that idea makes me excited to see exactly what will happen later tonight…
